According to the changes made recently in the education system by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), a new policy has been introduced about 2 years’ bachelor degree programs.
It has been notified to all the colleges and Universities that two years’ bachelor’s degree will now be exterminated and instead of two years, bachelors will be completed in 4 years similar to BS and other four-year degrees. Hence they have introduced a new name for a two years degree which is an Associate degree which can be done in two years after inter and before bachelor.

These programs have been specifically designed for students who wish to complete their studies in less possible time and start a career professionally.
A meeting was held for the public announcement about this policy to ensure a successful implementation of the policy. Furthermore, it was cleared during the meeting that students who are already studying in two years degree program, will be given an Associate degree at the end of the completion of the course.
This policy was revealed with a feasibility factor for students. It was said that people who are in the middle of an Associate degree and wish to continue studying for four years, will be able to do so. They have the opportunity to stay and continue with a bachelor degree which would be completed in four years and the student will get a professional relevant degree.

There are four stages that a candidate undergoes before coming on board.

Weapons and Ships Pak Navy:

Pakistan Navy has struggled hard to build up a big setup of modernized ships having the facility of equipment and weapon operating system. It has the latest submarines, state of art MCMVs exceptionally built missile boats, fast petrol crafts and midgets submarines.

To keep a check on the weapons they conduct multiple missile tests as recently they publicised about it and tested launches of weapons and missiles to hit the targets on the surface from submarine to check the performance in case of warfare.

Radio Pakistan informed that the trials of land-attack, anti-ship and air defence missiles were directed in the north Arabian Sea and the Makran coast in Baluchistan.

They also released the footage of the trials which were held and witnessed in the consent of its chief Zafar Mahmood Abbasi who claimed that they are always ready to fight and defend the nation as sea frontiers with a spirit to knob any misadventure from the enemies.

Rear Admiral M. Arshid Javed, the official representative of the PN also tweeted and talked about the trials and tests. He assured that all the weapons that include Land attack missiles which were fired from fast attacking craft and submarine, Anti-ship missiles were launched from aircraft and PN destroyer, Air defender missile was launched to ensure its capability and the performance of all missiles were perfect as they hit the specific targets successfully.

What is BISE Lahore?

What is BISE Lahore? Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education is the largest examination system in the Lahore division which controls all the board examination matters of students apart from any involvement of schools and colleges under the government’s supervision. Initially, the board examination system was associated with Punjab University but after taking permission, BISE Lahore took control of all the board examination matters officially in 1955 and progressed on a larger scale.

It is the governing body that administers all the matters without any consent of relevant educational institutions. They provide their attendants to pay attention to the even-handed and fair conduct in the examination. Information of students is kept private and confidential in departments where unauthorized people cannot go without permission.

Once this division was on board, there was a huge increase in the number of candidates in the country and so the more division boards were established in Multan, Sargodha, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sahiwal and other major districts. As of now, more than thirty boards are working at the division level. All provinces have their boards in major districts.

All the private schools and colleges within this division are affiliated with this board. 9^th and 10^th papers due time are usually between March and April while the intermediate 11 and 12 papers duration is from May to June. Theory papers are taken before the practical papers which are conducted lately after the written papers and taken in practical rooms of certain different centres.

Board is formed with a Compilation of few governing figures who collaborate and work significantly for the same office.

Governing people who pertain to the board office are as follows;

The Chairman, The Vice-Chancellor who is nominated by the Chairman, All Executive district officers of this area, The Director of education nominated by him, Representative of Finance and Education within the rank of Deputy Secretary, a Principal of any Degree College to be nominated by the authorities, One Principal of an intermediate college, Two Headmasters and one Headmistress of schools, two persons from amongst Scholars and retired Educationists.

All the above people are nominated by their authorities and must belong to the areas within the jurisdiction of the board.

Moreover, Examination board matters are usually headed by the designated Chairman who is assisted by two more people, Secretary and Controller of Examination.

They are the higher authorities who are majorly responsible for students’ degrees, exams, and results. Without the consent and sign of these people, students cannot have their documents verified. They can also attest to the degree or any other important document as the government’s high ranked employee.

Matric Result:

Since 9^th class papers were not commenced due to COVID-19 and students were promoted to 10^th class however, students were able to appear in 10^th class board exams with all precautionary measures.

The matric result was previously expected to be announced on 14^th September 2020 while it has now been delayed due to the CIVID-19 situation. Practical marks were not managed and now the government has decided to complete this process by adding 50% confirmed marks in practical while the other 50% marks will be given keeping in view students ‘performance in theory papers. No further announcement notification is confirmed yet.

This examination system is established to ensure the magnificent and unbiased results in a pure and reasonable environment so that only deserving students can come in front and competently contribute to the world.

In recent times, few major changes have been made in the education system by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) who has amended bachelor’s degree policy.
All the colleges and Universities have been informed through the notice that two years’ bachelor’s degree will be eradicated and all bachelor’s programs will be done in 4 years. Two Year Bachelor Degree Programs in Pakistan will now be called as Associate Degrees.
